Old Beds, New Plants.

It was finally time to remove the garlic; they are currently in the drying process. I dug up the soil and mixed in some new soil (for more information on how to do this, please read: Starting a Garden). After compacting and watering the soil mixture, I planted parsley, dill, english thyme, eggplant, okra, and some marigolds. The flowers help to make the beds look nice as well as attract pollinators, like butterflies and honeybees. Some wasps even come to check out the brightly colored petals.
